REIF HoldCo I GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of TUGELA-Renewable Energy Infrastructure Fund GmbH & Co. KG (TUGELA), a specialised investment vehicle focused on renewable power generation assets across Europe. TUGELA provides institutional investors with access to proven solar, wind and biomass technology, delivering stable returns and supporting Europe’s energy transition towards a low carbon economy.
Investment strategy
TUGELA follows a core strategy, investing in a regulatory and regionally diversified portfolio of fully operational photovoltaic and wind power plants, thereby supporting the continuing decarbonisation of the European power generation fleet. REIF HoldCo I GmbH pursue an inherently sustainable investment objective and contribute to the energy transition in the selected countries, supporting them in achieving of their individual climate targets. Our goal is to combine economic success with environmental and social responsibility, acting as a reliable partner for sustainable investments.
Portfolio
It is our belief, that broad diversification adds stability and resilience to an investment. A well-diversified portfolio of four photovoltaic and wind assets in Italy, France and Sweden was established. Together with the active investment and asset management approach, the company focuses on creating long-term value for investors and social environment.
Structure
REIF HoldCo I GmbH is a limited liability company (Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung) under the laws of Federal Republic of Germany, headquartered in Grünwald, Germany. Its objective is to hold and finance stakes in wind and solar projects. The sole shareholder is TUGELA-Renewable Energy Infrastructure Fund GmbH & Co. KG, a Germany-based closed-end fund exclusively open to professional investors. REIF HoldCo I GmbH serves as a central platform to its subsidiaries, consolidating controlling and financing activities, procurement services, risk management and reporting processes, enabling efficient resource allocation and securing full compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
